We continued our work with arcs and sectors today by taking a look at how to determine the central angle in these types of problems. We also went over how to work with what we called "shaded region" problems. These are problem types that deal with a portion of a circle that is found by working with both a sector and a triangle. The key thing is to determine what each area is individually and then either add or subtract the values to determine the final answer. We did a few examples together before the students got started on their assignment.
