We finished our last topic in chapter 12 today in dealing with solid objects. We went over how to work with similar solid objects and how to determine their scale factor. Once we found the scale factors, we were able to find both the volume ratio and area ratio between the shapes. These ratios can then be used to solve for unknown quantities. We went over 2-3 examples before getting started on the homework assignment.
