We continued our work with circle areas today by introducing the topics of arc lengths and sector areas. These two new vocab terms are related to circles and use the concepts of area and circumference that we learned yesterday. We went over 3-4 problems together to introduce the concept of what a fraction of the circle is before getting the students to practice a few problems on their own. The students then got started on their assignment.
