We continued our study of area today by going over the area of circles. We also reviewed how to find the circumference of circles in a variety of ways. We did problems with exact values of pi and approximate ones (3.14 and 22/7). We also did a few application problems that use the areas of circles in their overall solution. The students then got started on the assignment towards the end of the period.
