We got back our chapter 1 test today and went over it together. We then started our discussion of chapter 2, which deals with deductive reasoning. The deductive reasoning topic involves some important vocabulary words in dealing with how to write proofs. We focused on if-then statements, hypothesis and conclusions, counterexamples, converses, and biconditional statements today in what we went through.
Assignment: section 2-1; page 35; #1-30; skip every third problem
