We did a little review of geometric drawings and notation today before starting today's lesson. The topic today was how to determine the length of a segment when it is graphed on a coordinate axes. We worked through how to do this and came up with the concept of the distance formula. This formula comes from the Pythagorean Theorem and we showed how both of these could be used to find the length of a segment. The students then got started on their assignment.
