We continued our work with the foundations of geometry today by introducing the figures and symbols for the ray and the segment. We also talked about how to determine the lengths of segments, and the definitions of the terms midpoint and bisect/bisector. Finally, we went through a few examples showing how the segment addition postulate works when used with drawings and variables.
