Honors Geometry; 9/1

Welcome to the 2015/2016 school year.  We spent today's class period going through the course syllabus and several of the classroom procedures.  I also talked with the students about using some of their work as examples of student work during my teacher recertification process this year.  Both the syllabus and the student work permission slip need to be signed by parents/guardians and returned to class by tomorrow.  The students then spent the remainder of the period filling out a student goal sheet and getting started on their first assignment.  The assignment deals with a quick review of equation solving skills from their previous algebra experiences.

Assignment:  return syllabus/student work permission slips; fill out goal sheet;  Algebra Review;  page 10;  #2-46 evens
