The students got back their chapter 10 tests on constructions today and we went over any questions they may have had on their drawings. We then went through a short introductory lesson on working with the area of rectangles to start off chapter 11. We went over the basic formula of the area of a rectangle and how to use our previous knowledge of trig ratios to help figure out the base and heights of rectangles.
Assignment: section 11-1; page 426-427; WE 1-31; skip every 3rd problem
