Geometry; 3/29

We went over some review problems as warm up to begin the period, taking a look again at the areas of sectors and the lengths of arcs.  We then answered homework questions before getting started on today's lesson.  Today's topic focused on using the area of figures to determine the geometric probability of events that might occur.  We went through a variety of examples with different shapes to illustrate the concepts before the students got started on their assignment.
