We started our new unit today that deals with area formulas for a variety of different shapes. We focused on the first couple of shapes today that included the areas of squares and rectangles. We then did several different examples together of the way the area formula can be used to determine a number of different values.
Assignment: section 11-1; page 425; CE 1-12 all; page 426-427; WE 9-13, 17-22, 27-28
