We went over our homework problems today before getting into the next aspect of chapter 11. Today's lesson focused on how to use the scale factor to determine the area and perimeter ratios of similar figures. We have studied similarity before, so the scale factor was not a new concept. Using it to find the area and perimeter ratios took about 4-5 sample problems to demonstrate before the students then got started on their assignment.
