We continued on in the area chapter today by covering how to calculate the area and the circumference of circles. We went over the basic formula first and how to use the various approximations of pi. We then did a few application problems together that dealt with circles.
Assignment: section 11-5; page 447; CE 1-12; page 448-449; WE 9, 11-13, 15-17
