We continued our work with circles today by taking a look at the properties of tangents in circles. We went over how to use the pythagorean theorem in working with circles to prove a line is tangent, and also how congruent triangles can be used to find some shortcuts in circles problems. After a few examples, the students then got started on their assignment.
