After the long weekend, we got back to studying right triangles today by taking a look at the first trigonometric ratio -- the tangent. We went over the definition of tangent and how to use it to solve questions concerning right triangles. We also spent time learning how to use the trig functions in our calculators. After several examples, the students got started on their assignment.
