The students got their chapter 1 tests back and were able to ask about any questions that they had. We then got started on chapter 2 today by taking a look at how deductive reasoning works in geometry. We introduced several new vocab terms today : if...then statement, converse, hypothesis, conclusion, counterexample, and biconditional statement. All of these were demonstrated and used to solve various types of questions. The students then got started on their homework assignment.
