We continued our work with deductive reasoning in geometry today by taking a look at what biconditional statements in geometry are and how they are formed from two different statements. We then explained how to use the various properties of algebra to work through algebra proofs. The two column format with statements and reasons was demonstrated a few times together before the students got started on their assignment.
