The students got back their chapter 11 quiz today and we went over any questions they had. We then got started on the next area topic: circles. We went over both formulas for the area of a circle and the circumference of a circle. We introduced the concept of giving an exact answer or an approximate one using either 3.14 or 22/7. We then did a few mixed shaped problems that different formulas needed to be applied to get the answer.
