We continued our study of parallelograms today by taking a look at some special cases of parallelograms in the form of rectangles, rhombuses, and squares. The special cases involve a few different properties that allow shortcuts to be taken in various calculation problems. We went over several of these types of problems together before the students got started on their assignment.
We will finish up Chapter 5 on Wednesday of this week. We will look to review on Thursday and then take a test on Chapter 5 on Friday, Dec. 5.
