We continued our work with area today by taking a look at how to determine the area of regular polygons. We used concepts from circles and triangles to help us in this process, especially the special right triangle ratios. We introduced the vocabulary word "apothem" and then went through 2-3 problems together in order to see the different methods of using the formula.
