We continued working with proofs today, going over the ones in homework and then walking through 2 more as a class. The two proofs today illustrated what a theorem is and how both the angle bisector theorem and the midpoint theorem can be proved. There are important differences between a theorem and a definition, and we spent some time demonstrating that today before the students got started on their homework.

We will spend some time reviewing the first 3 sections of chapter 2 tomorrow in preparation for our chapter 2 quiz on Friday over sections 2-1 to 2-3 .
