We introduced the topic of deductive reasoning today through a video clip and through the use of some logic puzzles. We went over the importance of collecting facts and putting them together in a particular order to arrive at a correct answer. We didn't do geometry today, but we practiced the type of thinking necessary in order to do geometry. The students got started on their logic puzzle packet in class.
