Today's lesson focused on the area of trapezoids. We went over how to work with the median/midsegment of trapezoids in order to determine the area of this figure. The examples in class showed us how to go through the various shortcuts of the pythagorean thrm, trig, ratios, and special right triangles to determine the correct dimensions of the trapezoid.
