Our lesson today focused on three more figures and their area formulas. We went over areas of triangles, parallelograms, and rhombi today. In each case, we needed to draw auxiliary lines to determine the correct values for the height, or to use the pythagorean theorem in determining the correct dimension. We went over 4-5 examples together before getting started on the assignment.
