We started our next unit today, chapter 11 -- the study of areas of polygons. Today's lesson started with the foundation of the area and perimeters of rectangles. We went over 3-4 review types of problems to show and remind the students of how to apply trig ratios and their knowledge of radicals to these new types of problems. After a few examples together, the students got started on their assignment.
