Our topic today was an exploration of the properties of parallelograms. We reviewed how to make measurements with both the ruler and protractor before beginning to make various observations about the angles, diagonals, and sides of a parallelogram. The students made several conclusions from their measurements and then continued on with their assignment of working with interior and exterior angles in polygons.
