Our work today focused on how to use ratios and proportions together to solve geometric problems. We went over a quick reviewing of techniques used to solve proportions (cross multiply and divide). We also demonstrated 5 properties of proportions that are useful in working different types of similarity problems. The students then got started on their assignment.
