We began working on how to solve quadratics today. We will cover the first part of chapter 13 that deals with this topic during this week before spring break. We talked about what the standard form for the quadratic equation is and how quadratics can be solved using factoring. We reviewed some factoring methods that we have previously used and then got started on the homework assignment.
Assignment: section 13-1; page 578-579; #1-9 all; 10-24 evens, 25-35 odd
