Geometry; 10/28

The lesson today focused on how to perform rotations without a grid as reference.  We went over how to use both a protractor and a ruler in order to do this.  The students also saw how a rotation is actually a composition of two reflections over intersecting lines.  We did 2-3 examples of these drawings together before the students got started on their assignment.

Assignment:  lesson 3-3;  page 126-128;  #2, 4, 12, 14, 16-24  (skip #17, 23)
