We continued our work with algebra proofs today by taking a look at how working with fractions fits into these proofs. We did 3-4 different examples with clearing fractions to illustrate the ways that students need to be able to get rid of fractions as they do algebra proofs. The students then got started on their assignment in order to prepare for the quiz tomorrow.
