Welcome to the 4th Quarter! We got back from Spring Break today and started the dash toward the finish line that is the final quarter. We started off by reviewing the concepts of slope, distance formula, and equations of circles together before getting into the new lesson for today. Today's topic dealt with the slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines. Lines that are parallel have the same slope, while lines that are perpendicular have slopes whose product is -1 (negative reciprocals is another term that is often used). We went through 4-5 practice problems together before getting started on the homework assignment.
