We began our study of similar polygons today by going through the notes on section 7-1. We worked on how to handle ratios and proportions today both with geometric figures and with algebraic equations. The students also reviewed the skill of constructing parallel lines as well.
Assignment: section 7-1; page 243-244; written exercises #1-23 all, 24-30 evens
construct two sets of parallel lines using corresponding angles on a separate sheet of paper.
