Today's topic was box and whisker plots. These plots are a way of looking at the overall variance of data (how spread out a set of data is). The box and whisker uses the median of sets of data and also introduces the concept of quartiles.

We wrapped up our study of chapter 6 today by going over the process of writing triangle inequality proofs using the Hinge Theorems. Being able to identify the SAS and SSS Inequality theorems from diagrams and use information in writing proofs is what we demonstrated several times today before spending some time in class working on a review exercise. The last part of the period we also reviewed how to write indirect proofs.
