We went over the homework assignment at the beginning of the period before the students took their chapter 2 quiz. Once they finished the quiz, the students then worked on an extra credit logic puzzle.

Geometry; 9/29
We continued working on 2-column proofs today by taking a look at how theorems are proved. We went through two of them -- the midpoint theorem and the angle bisector theorem. The students got to see how these theorems are proven and saw how some new reasons can be used in proofs.

Geometry; 9/28
We continued our work with proofs today by introducing the concept of how to solve a geometric proof. We went through 4 proofs together before getting started on the homework, and were introduced to different ways in which to use the postulates, definitions, and algebra properties as reasons. The students then got started on their assignment.
