The students continued with their practice with geometric proofs today by going over a couple more together with me.  They then took a short quiz on algebraic proofs before getting started on their homework assignment.

We wrapped up chapter 2 today by reviewing some of the vocab words associated with conditionals.  We went through a couple more proofs together as well to touch base on some theorems again.  The students then got started on their review for the chapter 2 test on Monday.  The answers to this review will be posted on canvas this weekend.

We went through the foundations of how to work with the absolute value function today.  We showed the different transformations that can occur in this function, and learned how to read the generic formula in order to detect any of the transformations involved.

We continued our work with proofs today by taking a look at an overview of how to plan and put a proof together.  We went through 3-4 more as a class to demonstrate these skills before the students got started on their homework.

I was gone today due to a district math meeting.  The students finished their homework from yesterday and worked on an angle pair calculation assignment in class.
